JAKARTA - Recently, Bill Gates made a statement in an interview regarding the cellphone he likes. As it turns out, the Microsoft founder prefers Android to iPhones.

"They (Android) are more flexible in connecting software with the operating system. This is what makes me familiar (with Android)", said the richest person number 3 in the world to Andrew Ross Sorkin in an interview held at the Clubhouse.

Gates also emphasized that in his daily life he uses Android phones more often. In addition, he revealed that Android phones make it easy because cellphone manufacturers present Microsoft applications in their Android smartphones.

On the other hand, Gates also stated that he uses iPhone despite the fact that he prefers Android phones. Ironically, the interview was conducted via Clubhouse, an audio-based application currently only available for iOS users.

"Because I want to keep up with the developments of the times, I also often play with the iPhone, but the cellphone that I often carry is an Anroid-based cellphone", Gates said, quoted by the Android Authority.

Paul Davidson, as the founder of Clubhouse who was present at the event, did not want to be silent. He responded to Gates' statement by disclosing that the Clubhouse application for Android was being developed and had become a "top priority".

Based on Paul Davidson's response, indirectly confirming the rumors that this rising audio-based application will soon be available for Android phones.
