Leaks Of Devices That Will Get IOS 18 And IPadOS 18 Updates

JAKARTA -Apple Will introduce iOS 18 at the 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). This big event for the Apple parade will be held in June.

Although the launch is still a few months away, iOS 18 leaks have been circulating a lot. The latest leak from one of the users of platform X, formerly known as Twitter, noted a compatible iPhone model for iOS 18.

Citing from the 9to5mac report, iOS 18 will be available in the iPhone 15 series, iPhone 14, iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 series, and iPhone 11 series. iPhone XS, iPhone XR, as well as the second and third generation iPhone SE are also rumored to be getting an iOS 18 update.

In addition to leaked compatible devices for iOS 18.9to5mac also noted several iPads that will get an iPadOS 18 update. This operating system (OS) will be available on the iPad 2020 and above, iPad mini and iPad Air 2019 and above, as well as the iPad Pro 2018 and above.

Unfortunately, the iPadOS 18 will not be compatible with the iPad Pro measuring 10.5 inches and 12.9 inches of the second generation. The two models were released in 2017 and used Apple's A10X Fusion processor.

The iPadOS 18 will also not be available for the iPad 6 and iPad 7 using thechipsetA10 Fusion. That is, Apple has stopped updating the system for the entire iPad launched before 2017.

Keep in mind that this leaked information is still uncertain because there is no confirmation from Apple. If the compatible device for iOS 18 is correct, then the list of devices will be similar to the list of devices for iOS 17.
