WhatsApp Launches Latest Text Shortcut Format

JAKARTA Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that WhatsApp, Meta-carried messaging platform, has a new writing format. This shortcut format can already be used.

Based on Meta's explanation on platform X, this format includes three types of shortcuts, namely a format for creating lists, for power users or emphasizing conversation content, and for very basic or classical needs.

In the first format, namely the lister, WhatsApp users can create a list of points using the connecting sign at the beginning of the sentence. Users can also create a list numbered by using numbers and point marks at the beginning of the sentence.

Next, users can block quotes and code in a row. Users only need to use angular brackets to block quotes and single quotes at the beginning and at the end of the sentence to create a code format in line.

Furthermore, for classical formats, users can use star marks at the beginning and end of the sentence to thicken words and use lowerlines at the beginning and end of sentences to make letters tilted.

In addition, users can create astrikerthrough format using tilde or wave at the beginning and end of the sentence and create a monospace using three single quotes at the beginning and end of the sentence.

All updates of this format are automatic and cannot be disabled. WhatsApp users on Android, iOS, desktop, or website devices can use this format shortcut.
