JAKARTA Google brought many changes during its fifteenth birthday at the end of last year. As a result of these changes, the transmission button and QR coders moved places.

If you're used to the previous display, you may be looking into where the transmission button and QR coders are located. Both buttons are in Customize and Control so the search is not so difficult.

In the past, QR codes could be directly created by simply clicking the icon in the address bar. Now, you have to open Customize and Control or three-dot icon first. After that, look for the Save and Share menu and look for the Create QR Code option.

Still in the same menu, you will see the Cast button or Transmission. By using the Cast feature, you can connect Chrome to the television screen. Make sure the television you want to connect supports the Chromecast feature.

Although the icon for the Cast feature has been moved, the icon will be visible again in the address bar or Omnibox when you activate the feature. However, the icon display is only temporary until you stop using the feature.

The Save and Share menu also has a new option, namely Send to Your Device. This feature is similar to the Cast feature, only specifically for mobile devices or other laptops. By using this feature, users can share tabs in real-time.

Although this update is visible on computer devices with macOS and Windows operating systems (OS), Google has not changed the Chrome display on ChromeOS devices. Until now, the Cast icon and QR code are still visible on the Omnibox Chromebook.
