Four Steps To Use Platform X Safely

JAKARTA Platform X, formerly known as Twitter, shared the right steps to safely use platform X. This stage was shared to celebrate Internet Security Day.

The first step users need to take is to protect accounts in five ways, namely using strong passwords and different from other sites and entering email and phone numbers in case of a problem.

Next, don't open suspicious links, don't give usernames and passwords to other people, and update the apps and browsers that are often used to open platform X to get the best protection.

The next stage that can be done to use X safely is to report an account that is considered annoying or detrimental. Users can also control sensitive content that is often seen through Privacy and Security Settings.

In the third stage, X reminds users to be careful when receiving emails from them. X's email only ends @X.com or @eXcom. If the end of the email address is different from the official email X, then the user is receiving a fake email.

In addition to reporting users for content that harms personal accounts, in the fourth stage, X asks users to report various accounts that are deemed to have violated the platform's regulations. Users can report via upload, Space feature, or from profile.

Finally, users must act if they are sexually harassed. This problem cannot be ignored and must be dealt with immediately. If this happens, report an account that abuses X to get rid of or delete the account.
