JAKARTA - As part of the Steam Next Fest, Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing have released a demo for the upcoming real-time space strategy game, namely Homeworld 3.

This demonstration is now available for download on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store until February 12 at 10 p.m., with Roguelike War Games mode available.

This mode makes players face the challenge of random fighting on four maps, using Artifacts to upgrade your ship.

War game mode combines RTS Homeworld gameplay with roguelike inspiration, which demands commanders to face a series of random fleet combat challenges, the developer wrote in his announcement.

Later, artifacts will be able to be used to increase strength, speed, and, of course, weapons on your ship. Based on the results you get, you will open a new fleet to change your strategy.

In addition, War Games will also support up to three players in collaboration with Quick Match and lobbying functions available.

The game will officially launch on both PC platform stores on March 8 with basic games selling for 59.99 US dollars (Rp943 thousand) and three other versions available.
