Encouraging Indonesia's Internet Speed, Minister Of Communication And Information Inaugurates 19 UPT Fasads

JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi has symbolically inaugurated the construction of the Fasad 19 Office Building of the Technical Implementation Unit within the Directorate General of SDPPI of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics.

During the inauguration, Budi hoped that improving the performance of the Directorate General of Resources and Postal and Informatics Devices (SDPPI) could encourage an increase in internet speed in Indonesia.

This is also one of the efforts made by Kominfo in building sustainable telecommunications infrastructure, including the development of 5G and 6G technology with the support of all the activities of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics.

"I also ask colleagues to strengthen the function of the Directorate General of SDPPI to be able to answer complex challenges in the world of frequency spectrum, maximize measurement automation to increase the accuracy and efficiency of size management," he said as quoted on Friday, February 2.

Not to forget, Budi also advised the staff of the Directorate General of SDPPI to maintain solidity. Because according to him, it is important to be able to achieve a common vision.

The Minister of Communication and Information inaugurated the infrastructure construction of the UPT Loka Tanjung Selor, Loka Mamuju and Loka Manokwari offices as well as the renovation of the 16 UPT fasad, namely Palu, Makassar, Banda Aceh, Banjarmasin, Ternate, Batam, Palangkaraya, Pekanbaru, Pontianak, Palembang, Manado, Tangerang, Mataram, Manokwari, Jayapura, and Pangkal Pinang.
