JAKARTA Beeper, an instant messaging app developer, decided to stop breaking through iMessage's defense. With this decision, Beeper has officially stopped fighting Apple.

This was conveyed through Beeper's official social media on Saturday, January 27. The company said it would no longer provide assistance if Beeper Mini and Beeper Cloud failed to connect with iMessage.

"But it should be noted that we no longer provide support or problem solving for issues related to iMessage. If it doesn't work, we're really sorry, now we've done what we can," Beeper said.

The app developer assured its users that they had tried their best for the past two months. However, Apple is still firm in its stance in blocking Beeper access to iMessage.

"As mentioned in our other blog post in December, although we want it, we are currently unable to provide support for iMessage in the Beeper Cloud or Mini, because of the actions Apple has taken," Beeper explained.

After stopping breaking through iMessage's defense, Beeper will focus on new goals. Now, Beeper will make Beeper Mini a multi-network chat app. With a wider realm, the app will include 14 new chat networks.

As we describe in our Product Roadmap post, our beautiful and fast Beeper Mini application is now the foundation of the new Android Beeper app. We are currently in the process of adding 14 other chat networks," said Beeper.

For now, users can only download Beeper Mini through the company's official website. The reason is, Beeper Mini has been removed from the Play Store since last December and access to iMessage has been moved to the Beeper Cloud app.
