JAKARTA Apple will provide corrective lenses for remote users who want to wear Vision Pro. The reason is, users should not wear glasses when using the Vision Pro.

To present a special corrective lens that fits the design of Vision Pro, Apple establishes a partnership with ZEISS, a leading optical lens manufacturer. Customers can buy this optical lens when ordering Vision Pro devices.

Although Apple offers a corrective lens purchase option, the company does not explain how to install the lens. In fact, this optical insertion from ZEISS requires a special installation that can confuse some users.

Reporting from 9to5mac, the owner of the M1Astra account on platform X said that the optical insertion of ZEISS is equipped with a private code. This code is necessary to pair a corrective lens into Apple's spatial computer technology.

Before using Vision Pro, users must put the optical insertion of ZEISS on the screen. When the lens is installed, the device must scan the installation code on the card in the optical insertion box.

It is not known what this installation code looks like. Most likely, the code that will be used for optical installation is an Application Clip code that can connect the system with ZEISS lenses.

With the complexity of this installation process, Vision Pro will not work with lenses made by other parties. What's more, users have to upload a valid optical prescription when they want to buy a corrective lens for Vision Pro.
