Crypto Gambling And Kasino Platform, Stake, Becomes The Main Sponsor Of The F1 Sauber Car

JAKARTA - Cryptocurrency gambling platform and casino Stake will appear strikingly in the next two years in Formula 1 after successfully obtaining naming rights for the F1 Sauber car.

The company replaces Alfa Romeo, which did not extend their C44 Sauber sponsorship after 2023. Sauber is scheduled to be rebranded as a Audi factory team by 2026 - leaving a gap for two years for other sponsors to enter the interim base.

Stake and their live-streaming platform, Kick.com, first appeared on Sauber vehicles in 2023 through an initial sponsorship deal. The team will officially be known as the F1 Stake Kick Sauber Team and will launch the 2024 season at an event in London in February 2024.

Canadian rapper Drake took part in the introduction of a new brand on New Year's Day and is expected to appear in selected F1 races during the 2024 season.

Stake promoted the launch of the F1 Stake Team with the Canadian rapper and brand ambassador Drake on Instagram on New Year's Day.

Motorsport.com also highlighted that Kick.com will have naming rights for Sauber's car chassis, named Kick Sauber C44. The F1 team is also expected to build and care for its vehicles, meaning Stake has become an F1 vehicle manufacturer.

Former Mercedes racer Valterri Bottas and former F2 star Zhou Guanyu will be racing for the team.

Formula 1 has attracted several crypto exchanges and businesses in recent years, with various companies looking to explore the global sports fan base through advertising and sponsorship deals.

OKX first partnered with McLaren in May 2022 as the main partner of their F1 team, and their brand stands out in the MCL60 race car in 2023.

Crypto.com has been the main sponsor of Formula 1 since 2021, where its brand has also appeared on the Grand Prix track around the world during the last few racing calendars. This crypto wallet and exchange operator also sponsored F1 team Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant.
