Release Of Annual Sustainability Report 2023, NTT Shows Clean Zero Emission Commitment

JAKARTA NTT Ltd., a technology service provider company, released the Annual Sustainability Report 2023 to demonstrate the company's commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2030.

Through this report, NTTingin summarizes the various efforts they have put forward in achieving ecological sustainability. The hope is that all their efforts can have a good impact on the future.

The 2023 Annual Sustainability Report shows NTT's steadfast dedication to sustainable practices and its commitment to long-term impacts on global sustainability challenges, NTT wrote in an official release.

In the sustainability report that NTT shared, there were several important points that they managed to achieve to prove their commitment. First, they managed to reduce the total emissions of Full Year 2022 (FY22) by 21 percent.

With increasingly high emission reductions, NTT has saved 1.6 million tonnes of carbon in just a year. This figure proves that the technology they use has reduced carbon footprint.

The NTT explained that they succeeded in reducing carbon due to the development of solutions related to waste waste data. The company is able to reduce data storage needs so that data center emission needs can be reduced.

In addition, NTT also uses Direct Chip Liquid Cooling and Liquid Immersion Cooling technology at their data center. The application of this technology is able to increase sustainability amid rising demand for computing.

All efforts that NTT has made have received direct recognition from the Science-Based Target (SBTi) initiative. NTT's ambitious commitment to reducing carbon emissions is considered in line with the Paris Agreement, a global agreement to face the global climate.
