Geek Fam And Onic Esports Secure Upper Bracket Position On M5 World's Championship

JAKARTA - After successfully securing two positions in the stage group stage of the M5 World's Championship, Onic Esports and Geek Fam played brilliantly on the first day of the bottomout stage.

Onic Esports vs Blacklist International

On the first day of the pickout round which was held on Saturday, December 9, Onic Esports had to face a team from the Philippines, Blacklist International.

Using the Best of Five (BO5) match system, Onic managed to lower the sangrunner-up from the M4 World Championship, Blacklist International with a final score of 3-2.

Thus, Onic managed to continue their journey by top bracket, and will meet with Deus Vult, who won the match with Fire Flux, on December 12.

Geek Fam vs Burmese Ghouls

Following onic's footsteps, Geek Fam also managed to secure his position in the top bracket, after successfully winning the match against Burmese Ghouls with a final score of 3-2.

In the first match, Geek managed to steal points. But in the second and third matches, BG won. Fortunately, Geek again showed his heading in the last two games so that he secured the position in the top bracket.

In the next top bracket match, which will be held on December 12, Geek will meet AP Bren (APBR), who previously managed to beat the team See You Soon Game (SYS).
