JAKARTA Google launched the Playground Instrument, an experimental website to create Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based music. The experiment was launched on Friday, December 1.

The Playground instrument is different from the MusicLM application which was launched earlier this year. Although both use AI, MusicLM makes music based on the description of users in text, while the Playground Instrument must compose its own music.

This creative website will provide two selected in the form of Adjective and Instrument. Within Addictive, users can enter many words such as happy, gloomy, moody, romantic, and many more.

For the Instrument section, users can enter various desired musical instruments such as guitar, piano, harmony, and others. After selecting Adjective and Instrument, Google will produce a 20-second music clip.

During recreation, users can choose Ambient, Beat, and Pitch modes to explore various sound effects. If you have chosen, users can immediately play the musical device by pressing the key on the screen or pressing the keyboard.

Google says that this website is only available in several countries. When VOI checks the Playground Instrument directly, the website is compatible in Indonesia and can be played without problems.

This experiment is planned to expand to more countries in the coming months. However, keep in mind that the Playground Instrument is still experimental and can be withdrawn by Google at any time.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
