Threads Coming Soon To Europe, Global Users Are Predicted To Increase

JAKARTA Since its inception, Threads has not explored Europe due to strict online service regulations there. However, new news says that Threads will soon be there.

From The Wall Street Journal report, Meta, which oversees Threads, decided to follow European Underline Service Regulations. By complying with these rules, the platform will soon be present in all European countries.

Reportedly, Threads will be coming to Europe in December. There is no information regarding the exact date of its launch, but this news proves that Threads will be operating globally.

There is one policy that Threads must adhere to as long as the application operates in Europe, namely Threads users can access the platform without creating a profile. This means that when you haven't signed Threads, you can still see other people's uploads.

Threads was first launched last July when platform X, formerly Twitter, was presenting many new policies that anger users, including a blue tick subscription system.

Although the number of active users per month is still very far from X, the platform appears to be following Twitter's success as Threads hit 100 million users in early November.

Currently, the number of active users in Threads only reaches 73 million, five times smaller than X which has 365 million active users. Threads expansion to Europe can be a good movement from Meta.

The number of Threads users will soon increase, including the number of active users. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's statement that expects the user's figure to reach one billion in the next few years may be achieved soon by Threads.
