DevFest 2023 Again Held, Welcoming 1,000 Tech Developers From Indonesia

JAKARTA - It is undeniable that current technological developments greatly affect various sectors, especially the presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) which changes the habit of human work.

For this reason, creating more digital talents in Indonesia also needs to be balanced with the latest quality and updates on the latest technological trends, so that technological solutions created by Indonesian developers are no less competitive with the global.

Google Developers Groups (GDG) Indonesia is here as a forum to accelerate the increase in the number and quality of technology developers in Indonesia through the 2023 DevFest Indonesia.

This conference will be held in 10 cities in Indonesia, namely: Bali, Bandung, Bogor, Depok, Jakarta, Makassar, Medan, Semarang, Surabaya and Yogyakarta, by presenting 80 speakers (technology experts), ranging from GoTo, DANA Indonesia, Hacktiv8, and so on.

DevFest Indonesia was held to share experiences and discuss topics about Android, Web Technology, Cloud (cloud competition), Machine Learning and those related to Google technology to more than 10,000 developers (tech developers) in Indonesia.

"We want activities like this to provide inspiration, motivation, and of course new knowledge so that in the future we can become reliable developers, besides that, we can also open up insights to create solutions to problems through technology," said Putranto Adhi Nugroho as GDG Lead Manager of Chapter Jakarta.

Di sisi lain, CEO Digital Tech Ecosystem & Development Sinar Mas Land Irawan Harahap mengatakan, bahwa Sinar Mas Land melalui Digital Hub sangat mendukung program DevFest Indonesia 2023 yang diselenggarakan GDG Indonesia.

"We hope that through this activity we can be born new talents who are reliable in the digital field," concluded Irawan.

In supporting the development of the digital economy in Indonesia, Sinar Mas Land also took part by presenting a Digital Hub area of 25.86 hectares in 2017.

This area is aimed at communities and a number of technology and digital companies, ranging from startups, technology leaders, to educational institutions in the field of information technology (IT) science.
