JAKARTA - YouTube continues to improve its tools with Artificial Intelligence (AI) support to help creators. Now, YouTube is introducing a new AI Music Tool.

Collaborating with Louis Bell as a well-known producer/songwriter, this new musical AI tool is claimed to be able to compose songs, only with fire.

"The artists, songwriters, and producers at the Music AI Incubator helped us test, study, get input, and listen to ideas so we can develop the best experience for our artist community, audience and fans," Lyor Cohen wrote, Global Music Chief, YouTube in its announcement.

Furthermore, Cohen said that this tool is still in the development stage. However, they intend to be able to test it by the end of this year.

"Imagine it can more smoothly change a person's thoughts and ideas into music; such as creating a new guitar riff just by damging it or taking the pop songs you're working on and giving a reggaeton feel," he explained.

Combined, these experiments will explore the potential AI features to help artists and creators develop their imaginations and improve their creative processes.

Amid the current rapid AI technology, YouTube is committed to continuing to collaborate with artists and partners, to jointly explore new opportunities critically and develop a plausible and sustainable framework of control, monetization, and distribution.

"We are still in the early stages of this work and hope that we will continue to develop our approach in line with further learning," the announcement concluded.
