Google Opens Bard Access To Teens With Strict Security Features

JAKARTA - Google will open Bard access for 13-year-olds in the European Economics Region (EEA), Switzerland, and the UK, which previously could only be used by people with a minimum age of 18 years.

Balkam said that Google's wise approach to expanding Bard's access to teens is an important thing in offering teens the opportunity to explore this technology with the right protection.

Meanwhile, Google also claims to have trained Bard to recognize areas that are inappropriate for underage users and implement safety features and guardrails to help prevent unsafe content, such as illegal substances or those restricted to age, from appearing in its response to teens.
