JAKARTA - Google launched a new capability on Chrome for iOS, which allows users to adjust the position of the search bar above and below their phone screen.

"Starting today, you can move the Chrome search address bar to the bottom of your iPhone screen," said Nick Kim Sexton, Product Manager, Chrome in its announcement on Google's official blog on Tuesday, October 31.

The idea is, Google understands the preference of the location of each person's search bar depending on the size of their hands and devices.

"And we consider such preference when making this most requested feature," added Sexton further.

Based on the announcement, if you want to move the address bar, press the address bar long and select the "Move the address bar down" option.

Or, you can also navigate the address bar to the Settings menu, then select the 'adologies' to select the place of your choice.

In addition, Google also announced that Chrome on iOS is now also using AI to translate text more accurately and detect addresses on sites, so that it can help users get more relevant search suggestions for the topics you are interested in.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
