Google Updates Security Systems On Its Sites, Apps, And Devices

Google will launch a number of new products and features regarding the security of their platforms. The update will launch this month to welcome the month of Cybersecurity Awareness.

Through a release shared on October 12, Google increased security on Pixel 8 devices, Gmail platforms, and on its own Google sites. Although all products and features that Google makes are designed with built-in security, they still raise this security issue.

In the recently released 8 Pixel, Google established the security of its cellphone with the Tensor G3 processor. This processor will maintain privacy and security using the Titan M2 security chip so that the Pixel 8 is able to withstand cyber attacks.

In addition, Pixel 8 is also experiencing an increase in biometrics, authentication system with physical or user data. Biometrics in Pixel 8 are said to be safer than authentication systems on other Android devices. In fact, this biometric can be used for banking and payment applications.

Meanwhile, Google has used Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to ward off spam, phishing, andmalware. With the help of AI, Gmail has blocked 15 billion unwanted emails every day.

Finally, Google introducedpasskeys as a substitute for thepassword. Passkeys itself is a new step to log on devices or platforms without passwords. This system only requires biometric authentication in the form of fingerprints and facial recognition.

Google also added several new features such as Clearing Exploration Data on Chrome, Report Dark Web, and Google Password Manager on iOS. All these updates Google added to make all Google-run sites, apps and devices more secure.
