JAKARTA - Asus introduced its newest compact and powerful cellphone, Asus Zenfone 10, with a better camera system, improved smartphone features, and other features on Tuesday, September 19 yesterday.

"This year, we are proud to introduce the ASUS Zenfone 10 in Indonesia. Where this smartphone is a form of ASUS' commitment to providing the leading technology to the people of Indonesia," said Jimmy Lin, ASUS Regional Director of Southeast Asia at the Asus Zenfone 10 Media event in Jakarta.

Powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform chipset, Zenfone 10 is claimed to provide very fast performance and gaming capabilities, compared to the previous generation, Zenfone 9 which uses Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

"The camera system that is perfected in one prestige provides extraordinary results, while more advanced intelligent features will improve every aspect of the user's experience," added Jimmy.

Just like its predecessor, Zenfone 10 also relies on a compact size with a 5.9-inch screen, and has a battery capacity of 4300mAh. But the difference is, Zenfone 10 is equipped with 15W wireless charging, while Zenfone 9 doesn't have this feature.

Another difference is the RAM and ROM configurations. If at Zenfone 9 Asus it offers 6GB/128 GB, 8GB/256 GB, and 16 GB/256 GB versions, at Zenfone 10 Asus it only offers two RAM choices, namely 8GB/128 GB and 16 GB/512 GB.

Furthermore, Asus provides Zenfone 10 with a 50MP back, which is equipped with a second-generation 6-Axis Hybrid Gymbal Stabilizer 2.0 technology that makes the video image quality more consistent and stable.

Meanwhile, Zenfone 10's front camera has 32 MP lenses, an increase from the previous series which only had 12MP front lenses.

The exact price for Zenfone 10 is not yet known, and it is planned to be launched online, on September 29, 2023 at 19.00 WIB at the official YouTube and Facebook ASUS Indonesia.
