RoboFab Will Produce Massive Humanoid Robots After Inauguration

JAKARTA Agility Robotics, the company that created the Bipedal Digit robot, opened a manufacturing plant in Salem, Oregon. With the establishment of this factory, production capacity is also targeted to increase.

The factory, named RoboFab, is capable of producing more than 10,000 robotics every year. The Agility Robotics plant is confirmed to employ more than 500 workers.

RoboFab will only officially open at the end of this year. With the opening of RoboFab, Agility Robotics will start mass-producing their humanoid romots.

Our factory announcement marks an important moment in robotics history: the onset of mass production of commercial humanoid robots, said Co-founder and CEO of Agility Robotics Damion Shelton, quoted by Geekwire.

In the production of robots in the latest plant, Agility Robotics confirms that the facilities used will continue to use Digits. This humanoid robot will help work such as moving, filling, and downloading Warehouse items.

As the world's first humanoid robot factory, Shelton had revealed that Digits was created to solve difficult problems in work that humans cannot handle.

This problem includes work difficulties that cause injury, fatigue, high income, and labor gaps that cannot be filled by humans.
