After Meta Quest, Roblox Will Be Released On PlayStation 5 On October 10

JAKARTA - In its series of annual events State of Play 2023 on September 14, Sony revealed that Roblox will be present for PlayStation players on October 10.

"Immediately attending the PlayStation, Roblox allows you to explore and share your experiences with friends," wrote Bui Thailand, Senior Director of Products, Roblox in its announcement on the PlayStation blog.

With more than 66 million active users every day, Roblox will be able to be played together with your friends, and millions of other people either via computer, mobile device, console, or on VR.

"PlayStation owners can download and enjoy Roblox when it launches on October 10. Possibility is unlimited, so cheer up and explore the millions of in-depth experiences available."

Previously, seeing the large number of players, Roblox, one of the largest 3D immersive platforms, announced its expansion of availability in Meta Quest, the leading VR headset of parent company WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.

At the time, Roblox said that Roblox's launch on the Meta Quest would open up other opportunities for developers to create and share their experiences with millions of people instantly on the Meta Quest.

Moreover, Roblox's cross-platform compatibility will allow the Meta Quest community to enjoy a shared experience with other Roblox users on Xbox, iOS, Android, and desktop.
