Similar To Pokemon Go, Niantic And Nintendo Create New Browser AR Game Titled Pikmin Finder

JAKARTA - The Niantic developer has teamed up with Nintendo to release a new browser-based AR game based on the Pikmin franchise, entitled Pikmin Finder.

In this new AR game, you should use your device's camera to find the closest Picmins around you.

Just like Niantic's Pokemon Go, which was a huge success, Pikmin Live will have a different type of Pikimin that can be found depending on various factors, such as location and time.

The Pikmin you find will later be able to direct you to find what is called a treasure.

Pikmin Finder can be played through its official website. You just need to write Pikmin Finder on your browser, then open the website and immediately find the picmin around you.

Since this game focuses on smartphones and tablets, if you access its website via PC, you may not be able to play it.

If you open a PC, you will be directed to a QR code that can be scanned by a smartphone to open a game on your phone.

Gameplay for Pikmin Finder seems a bit simple. Based on what VOI is trying, you just need to find a few picmins, then if the pop-up reads "search for treasury" that click, which will then deploy your Pikmin to get treasure.
