JAKARTA - Epic Games will provide their 100 percent net income creators from the Epic Games Store, only if games or apps are made exclusive.

The new program, called Epic First Run, provides developers with the opportunity to increase their net income from spending on eligible products.

The company will provide 100 percent of the previous 88 percent, in the first six months on the Epic Games Store.

Both games and apps participating in the Epic First Run program will be presented to users in stores with new exclusive badges, homepage placements, and special collections.

In addition, products will be featured in relevant store campaigns including sales, events, and editorials as applicable.

However, developers must include new unreleased game or release apps in other third-party PC stores or are included in subscription services.

Games or apps that already have an exclusivity deal with Epic Games Store don't qualify for this program.

Epic Games seems promising the program can run smoothly, seeing Epic Games Store host a large and rapidly growing global audience with more than 230 million players and 68 million monthly active users.
