Coinbase Ready To Relist XRP Depending On Final Result Of Court Decision

JAKARTA - Coinbase, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, revealed the possibility of re-incorporating XRP into the list of tokens they support. This was revealed by Paul Grewal, Coinbase's attorney, in a recent interview.

In the interview, Grewal explained that they continued to re-evaluate the list of supported tokens. However, related to XRP, this decision was influenced by legal disputes over the past two years regarding the nature of the token.

Earlier, on Wednesday, legal heads Ripple and Coinbase had held a meeting deemed crucial. The two executives summoned this meeting amid their demands against the United States SEC to provide clarity on regulations related to cryptocurrencies.

Although currently the XRP status in Coinbase is still determined by the outcome of the trial, decisions taken by the court can affect other cryptocurrency exchanges and affect the value of XRP in the market.

Whatever decision the court will take later, Coinbase has confirmed that it will follow the appeal process and decide to re-enter XRP into the list of tokens they support after the court's decision is announced. However, certainty regarding this matter is still awaiting a court decision to be announced soon.
