JAKARTA - CEO Meta, Mark Zuckerberg has announced that all WhatsApp users can now log in to the same WhatsApp account on up to four cellphones at once.
"Today, we're expanding our multi-device offering by introducing the ability to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple phones at the same time," Zuckerberg said in the announcement.
Each linked phone will connect to WhatsApp independently, ensuring that your private messages, media, and calls are end-to-end encrypted.

Furthermore, Zuck also says that if your main device is inactive for a long period, your existing WhatsApp account on the other phone will automatically be logged out of that device.
"Linked phones as companion devices make messaging easier. Now you can switch between phones without leaving and you can immediately resume your last chat," he added.
This update is already rolling out to some users globally and will be available to everyone in the next few weeks.

Apart from that, a few days ago Meta also launched a new WhatsApp feature called "Keep in Chat". This feature allows you to save messages to be read again, even if they are in disappearing messages mode.
How it works, the sender will be notified if the message was saved by the recipient of the message, and the sender can decide to let them keep the message or keep it as a disappearing message.
If you have decided that your message should not be retained by anyone else, then your decision is final, no one else can retain it and the message will be deleted when the timer expires. This update will roll out globally in the next few weeks.
