Surpassing 30 Million Users, Glance Becomes The Largest Consumer Technology Platform In Indonesia

JAKARTA - After being present about two years ago, Glance, the smart lock screen entertainment platform, has now succeeded in surpassing 30 million monthly active users (Monthly Active Users) in Indonesia. With this amount, Glance has succeeded in positioning itself as one of the largest consumer technology platforms in Indonesia.

At the same event, Glance also released its annual report entitled "Glance Smart Lock Screen Indonesia 2023", which reveals the demographics of its consumers. Glance notes that consumer involvement based on gender is not much different, namely 54% of male consumers and 46% of female consumers.

Similar numbers and balanced involvement were also found across age groups, namely 40% of Glance consumers aged 35 years and over, 38% aged between 25-34 years, and another 22% of consumers aged 24 years and under.

Furthermore, this Glance report explains that consumers engage with the Glance lock screen consistently throughout the day, with maximum engagement levels between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Currently in Indonesia, the new Glance smart lock screen is available on the Xiaomi, Realme, VIVO, and OPPO smartphone brands. But going forward, Piyush hopes to reach more brands and other smartphone models. Glance also targets to be able to reach more than 50 million other users in Indonesia.

"Our vision for the future is that Glance will be on all lock screens on all smartphone brands, or tabs, and so on. Currently, Glance is also the largest lock screen platform in the world," said Piyush.
