JAKARTA - Netflix, the much-loved streaming platform for movies and TV series, announced its collaboration with Bumble, an online dating application, on Tuesday, January 24.

With this partnership, all Bumble members will be able to celebrate their favorite Netflix shows while building connections with their partners on the Bumble app, starting next January 30th.

"With Bumble's new question game, Netflix Nights In, you and your partner will be able to test your inside knowledge on some of our favorite titles such as Stranger Things, Squid Game, Love Is Blind, Outer Banks, and many more," Netflix wrote in the announcement on the official website.

So, the way these games work requires both partners to answer statements before their answers are revealed. These questions will come from several well-known Netflix actors such as Ashley Park from the TV series Emily in Paris, and so on.

"Every week, Bumble members can also expect to see some familiar faces presenting new questions on the app, such as Emily in Paris' Ashley Park, Alexa Lemieux of Love is Blind, Jonathan Daviss of Outer Banks and Selling Sunset's Amanza Smith," explained the company.

According to a Netflix report, the average member watches six different genres every month. In fact, from a recent Bumble survey, 83% of respondents said they were Netflix users, 42% revealed they had discussed theories or speculation about TV shows or movies while on a previous date.

86% would like it if the person they are dating has a TV and series/TV shows similar to it. A taste for movies 40% said a potential partner's love of movies would make them more attractive and 65% said a liking for true crime made a potential partner more attractive.

Netflix Nights In will begin airing from January 30 to March 13, with new Netflix-themed questions releasing every Monday on the Bumble app in the US, Canada and UK. Meanwhile, you can modify your dating profile and stream your favorite titles to impress future matches.
