JAKARTA – Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo recently announced the launch of his first NFT collection on the digital asset trading platform Binance. The plan is that Ronaldo's NFT collection will be available on Friday, November 18, 2022.

The launch is part of Binance's exclusive partnership with Ronaldo. In addition, Binance is also conducting a global marketing campaign to bring a Web3 experience through the NFT collection to Ronaldo fans.

Currently, Ronaldo strengthens the English football club, Manchester United. This is the first NFT released by the Portuguese professional footballer. Meanwhile, Binance, the largest crypto exchange company in the world by trading volume, has already established a multi-year exclusive partnership with Ronaldo since June 23, 2022.

The inaugural collection of NFT Cristiano Ronaldo, which will be launched on November 18, will feature seven animated statues of Ronaldo with four levels, Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal (N). Each NFT statue depicts Ronaldo in an iconic moment from his life, including his childhood life in Portugal to his forays into football.

Ronaldo's inaugural NFT only amounted to 6645 items. 5 of them are NFT level SSR, and 40 are NFT SR. The auction will be open for 24 hours with bids open at 10,000 BUSD for SSR and 1,700 BUSD for SR. While another 6,600 NFT consisting of 600 R and 6,000 N will be offered on Binance starting at 77 BUSD. For your information, BUSD is a crypto stablecoin Binance USD whose value is tied to the value of the US dollar.
