JAKARTA - Netflix has launched the Manage Access and Devices feature to make it easier for customers to manage their own Netflix accounts.

"Today, we launched Manage Access and Devices a new feature in Account Settings that will allow you to easily view the latest devices that have been streamed from your account and exited certain devices with just one click," wrote Charles Wartemberg, Product Manager, Product Innovation in his announcement.

With this new feature, you as the account owner can remove your Netflix account on devices you don't recognize, or remove an account from a specific device.

According to Wartemberg, this feature is one of the most requested features by its customers.

"The widely requested features to help members manage the security of their accounts are now available to all members around the world on the web, iOS, and Android," he explained.

Additionally, the addition of this feature can help Netflix encourage more freelancers to become customers as they start the service, where they may log in without the knowledge of the account holder.

The new feature was launched following other recent policies that are also aimed at limiting account sharing, such as Profile Transfer, which comes amid a broader crackdown as Netflix faces customer loss.
