JAKARTA - Microsoft has announced a new lineup of games coming to Xbox Game Pass during the Indie Game Showcase event on Wednesday, September 14.

One of the titles announced was Valheim. Microsoft has previously confirmed that Valheim will be coming to Xbox Game Pass for consoles in the spring of 2023.

However at that time, they had not mentioned an exact date when it would be released. But now, it's finally revealed that Valheim will be releasing on September 29th.

Valheim will also be present at the Microsoft Store along with the release of his PC Game Pass. While Steam's version of this game will support full crossplay with Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass versions, and the Xbox Game Pass version will also be included in the crossplay pool once it arrives.

Launching from the Iron Gate as developer of Valheim via Rockpapershotgun, they said that Steam players and players using the Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass will be able to play together.

The game will remain in early access for the foreseeable future, as Iron Gate insists they have "a little more left to add to the game" before hitting 1.0.

According to the game's description, Veilham is a brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players set in a procedurally generated purgatory inspired by viking culture.
