JAKARTA - Nvidia and Epic Games are working together to return the Fortnite video game to Apple device users. Although it was not stated when, Nvidia said this method would be part of its game streaming service.

The game has been blocked on Apple devices since August, when Epic introduced its own billing system. Apple says that it violates App Store rules.

Apple later removed "Fortnite" from its app store, sparking a legal dispute, in which Epic sued Apple and called the App Store rules anti-competitive behavior.

Quoted from Reuters, Friday, November 20, Nvidia and Epic said "Fortnite" will return to the iPhone via the Safari web browser device, which is not subject to Apple's terms or regulations. This is done by Nvidia in expanding the GeForce NOW platform, which is a cloud-based gaming service.

The chip company says it is rolling out a trial version of GeForce NOW to iPhone and iPad. Early versions of the service will require an accessory called a game pad that attaches to the iPhone to provide buttons, which are similar to a console or PC game controller.

Nvidia said in a blog post that the game pad will allow the 5 million members of the GeForce NOW service to play game titles, such as "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" and "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" on the iPhone.

Nvidia says it's working with Epic to bring a "Fortnite" version to the Safari browser on iPhone that doesn't require a controller.

"We are working to enable a touch-friendly version of" Fortnite, "which will delay game availability," said Nvidia's head of cloud gaming service Phil Eisler.

Nvidia said its cloud gaming service is priced at 4.99 dollars (around Rp.71 thousand) per month or US $ 24.95 (around Rp.354 thousand) for six months.
