JAKARTA - Kirby's new game that will focus on Nintendo's multiplayer mode, Dream Buffet is confirmed to be released for Nintendo Switch next week.

This news was delivered by Nintendo during its 30th-anniversary concert, which was held in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday, August 12.

Nintendo said that Dream Buffet will be released on the Nintendo eShop Japan on Wednesday, August 17 for 1500 yen (IDR 166 thousand).

The global release is unknown, however, Nintendo America has confirmed that Kirby's Dream Buffet will be released in the West on August 17th.

According to VGC records, Kirby's Dream Buffet is a multiplayer game, where players will compete and roll their Kirby a stage full of food.

Based on the trailer that Nintendo uploaded, the game will consist of four levels, and each Kirby will roll over to eat as much food as possible during the game.

"Kirby's Dream Buffet found a group of Kirbys rolling through a stretch of food-themed stage in four rounds of frantic multiplayer fun," Nintendo said in a statement.

Nintendo claims that the game offers accessible gameplay for players of all skill levels. In addition, with the multiplayer mode, Kirby's Dream Buffet comes as a friendly competition game.
