JAKARTA - Pinterest launched a new iOS application called Shuffles, which allows users to do more with a single photo.

With Shuffles, you can create photo collages, crop images, and even add various other effects to the photos.

According to the app's description, Shuffles users can take photos from the Pinterest library or take photos of their own. After that, you can edit it using the Shuffles app.

When you're done creating, your final project can be shared with friends for collaboration or posted to a public group where others can "modify" the original creation in their own creative way.

Although it has not been officially announced by related parties, a Pinterest spokesperson confirmed that the application is a standalone application made by TwoTwenty.

"Shuffles is a standalone app created by TwoTwenty, Pinterest's innovative incubator team. Shuffles is an exciting way to create, publish and share visual content," the spokesperson said, quoted from Engadget.

In addition to editing photos with existing creative tools, the company shows that Shuffles can be used to visualize room changes, fashion ideas, mood boards, and more.

As the app is still in the early testing stages, a Pinterest spokesperson said there are no further details to share at this time.

On the other hand, some time ago Pinterest launched a new innovative merchant feature that allows retailers to pursue success on its platform. The features are the Pinterest API for Shopping, Product Tagging on Pins, Videos in the Catalog, and the Shop Tab on the Business Profile.
