JAKARTA - Last year Twitter announced that users would be able to record Spaces sessions for sharing or re-listening. But at the time, this option was only available to a limited number of users, now the company has finally made it available to everyone.

Twitter now lets all Android and iOS users record sessions in Twitter Spaces. Users can choose to record Spaces when they set up a session. Later, Twitter will record the entire conversation to make it available to anyone who wants to listen to it again later.

If the user is in a Spaces that is being recorded, the user will see an icon at the top of the Spaces notifying that the session is currently being recorded. This feature is exactly the same as Zoom's recording feature.

Launching 9to5Mac, Friday, January 14th, this way, even those who couldn't join Spaces during a live stream can now listen to the session. The recording will be available for public playback for 30 days after the Space expires.

The recorded spaces will be permanently deleted. Of course, users who wish to delete the recorded Spaces session before 30 days can do so.

The option will not be available on the web at this time, as users can only join Spaces via the Twitter website as listeners.

The company has continued to add features to Spaces since it first launched and recently opened up the ability for anyone on Android and iOS to be able to host Spaces.

Previously, only users with 600 followers or more could host Spaces. But now, anyone can host with a Twitter account, users who don't have an account can still join from the web, but not as an organizer.
