Whatsapp Finally Comes To iPad, Windows And MacOS

JAKARTA - iPad users will soon see the WhatsApp messaging application on their devices. At first, they could not use it, now they can enjoy the service owned by Facebook.

Quoted from Wccftech, Tuesday, August 24, WhatsApp is reportedly developing an iPad application with the development of multi-device 2.0. This means that the iPad device will be included in the linked device support. Not only for the iPad, but WhatsApp also generally develops applications for Android tablets.

However, in the meantime users will still have limited device support when using the multi-device feature. They can only use on a maximum of four devices, be it laptops, computers, or iPads and Android tablets.

Furthermore, WhatsApp for the first time also launched a beta version of the application for computer users based on Windows and macOS. The beta version for general users is 2.2133.1. If you are interested in trying the beta version of the WhatsApp desktop application, users can download it via the link provided by the company.

Once WhatsApp users on PC register their devices to try out the program, they will become official testers and receive all the features in the update automatically. This version only includes one feature, namely recording audio messages only. This feature allows users to preview their audio messages before they are sent.

Previously if a user recorded an audio message, they could only send it directly to the recipient without previewing it first. Later, this feature is confirmed to be rolling out earlier in the mobile WhatsApp application.

Through this trial, if a user gets a bug while using the beta version of WhatsApp desktop, the company provides a report feature that can be accessed on the Settings menu, the user just clicks Contact Us and sends an explanation along with a screenshot of the bug so that it is easily understood by the development team.
