JAKARTA - The bidding process to host the 2027 Asian Cup had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A decision on this will return to the agenda in 2022, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced Wednesday.
The selection of the host country will initially take place at the AFC Congress on November 27, 2021.
India, Iran, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia have made bids to host the major football tournament in the Asian continent.
