Bambang Soesatyo Targets Entering The XXXII Sea Games Competition In Cambodia

BALI - Chairman of the MPR RI and General Chairperson of the Executive Board of the Tarung Derajat Sports Family (PB KODRAT) Bambang Soesatyo demonstrates Tarung Derajat's moves to ward off attacks from various directions launched by three people. The demonstration was held in the 2021 KODRAT Bali Level Advancement Exam (UKT), which was attended by 406 participants, ranging in age from 6 to 30 years old and above.

"The key moves and moves taught by Tarung Derajat are very easy to understand and learn, even by seniors like me. With just one touch, you can bring down your opponent. Learning Tarung Derajat is not for being brave. The chairman of the 20th House of Representatives explained that, as the Teacher Achmad Dradjat (Aa Boxer) often emphasized, Tarung Derajat is a martial art that learns and trains practical and effective tactics of movement of the feet, hands, head and other body parts. Drajat Fighting League

The Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party explained, in order to introduce Tarung Derajat to various circles of society, PB KODRAT will organize the Tarung Derajat League which will be broadcast live from a private television channel. As well as holding exhibition matches in various malls and shopping centers, by presenting celebrities, Youtubers, content creators, to well-known influencers. "Atta Halilintar, who acquired PSG Pati (AHHA PS Pati FC) and Raffi Ahmad, who acquired RANS Cilegon FC, will use Tarung Derajat as a training facility for their football athletes. In addition to preserving Tarung Derajat, it is also to make football players more agile when competing. in the field," explained Bamsoet.

The head of the FKPPI State Defense Agency added that a big task awaits so that Tarung Derajat can be competed in international sporting events such as the Sea Games. Considering that at the 2017 Sea Games in Malaysia, the 2019 Sea Games in the Philippines, and the 2021 Sea Games in Vietnam, Tarung Derajat has not yet made it into the sport being competed.

"We hope that at the XXXII Sea Games in 2023 in Cambodia, Tarung Derajat can be competed. To make it happen, PB KODRAT will immediately coordinate with the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant agencies. In order to be officially contested at the Sea Games, at least Tarung Derajat must get support from six countries, including the host of the Sea Games," concluded Bamsoet.
