JAKARTA - Roberto Mancini has made it clear that he wants the Italian national team to put on a performance deserving for a stadium like Wembley when they face Austria in their Euro 2020 last 16 matches at the England headquarters on Sunday 27 June western Indonesia time.

So far, as reported by Antara, Italy has become the most impressive team at Euro 2020 by sweeping victories in Group A with a clean sheet to extend the trend of not losing 30 games in a row.

That alone is enough to make Italy a very seeded team to get past Austria's obstacles, but this match is also the first time they have played outside Rome.

"You have to enjoy every time you play at Wembley, it's an honor because not all players have the same opportunities," said Mancini.

"It's a beautiful stadium and our players have to put in a great performance, because that's what happens in a stadium like this.

"As a player you want to be involved in games in this kind of stadium. The players have to love playing here.

"When you play in an ideal football like Wembley you have to respect the opportunity and put in a good performance and I hope they do, to be honest, I'm sure they will."

So far Roberto Mancini has given 25 of the 26 players in the Italy squad for Euro 2020, including when he made eight changes to the starting line-up in the 1-0 win over Wales in the final Group A match.

"Everyone gave a great job putting together the line-up because they all performed well," he said.

"We made all those changes against Wales and all the substitutions in the previous matches. It's great to be able to count on players who are fit and excited, and they are quite relaxed mentally. That could be an advantage for us," concluded Roberto Mancini
