Jasa Marga Records The Jabotabek Toll Traffic Voiume Increases 8.76 Percent On D+3 Christmas

JAKARTA - Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division recorded an increase in the volume of traffic returning to Jabodetabek from Cikampek and Puncak or Sukabumi in the vicinity on Saturday, December 28, 2024 or D+3 Christmas in 2024.

Vehicles distributed through the Halim Toll Gate (GT), GT Cikunir 6 and GT Ciawi 2 on Saturday 28 December 2024 or D+3 Christmas in 2024.

"On Saturday, December 28, 2024 or D+3 Christmas in 2024, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division recorded monitoring of increased traffic around the Jabotabek and West Java Toll Roads," said Senior General Manager of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division Widiyatmiko Nursejati as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, December 29.

A total of 119,330 vehicles or an increase of 8.76 percent compared to the normal traffic volume of transactions, namely 109,718 transaction vehicles.

Meanwhile, the volume of transaction traffic at GT Halim towards Jakarta was 69,837 vehicles, an increase of 8.93 percent, with normal transaction traffic of 64,110 vehicles.

The volume of transaction traffic at GT Cikunir 6 towards Jakarta is 12,162 vehicles, an increase of 47.28 percent from the volume of normal transaction traffic of 8,258 vehicles.

Then the volume of transaction traffic at GT Ciawi 2 towards Jakarta is 37,331 vehicles or 0.05 percent lower than the normal transaction traffic volume of 37,350 vehicles.

Meanwhile, in West Java, a total of 69,191 vehicles passed by, or an increase of 18.56 percent compared to the volume of normal transaction traffic, namely 58,360 transaction vehicles heading to Bandung City and its surroundings. This increase is due to the movement of people back to various destinations ahead of the 2025 New Year celebrations.

Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad also recorded 32,904 vehicles heading to Bandung or Jakarta leaving the Rancaekek area, Garut and its surroundings through GT Cileunyi.

The volume of transaction traffic at GT increased by 6.99 percent from normal traffic, which was 30,753 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the volume of transaction traffic from the opposite direction or leaving Bandung to Rancaekek, Garut and its surroundings through GT Cileunyi was recorded at 32,153 vehicles, an increase of 7.25 percent compared to normal traffic of 29,979 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the volume of GT Pasteur transaction traffic leaving Bandung was recorded at 33,078 or an increase of 3.73 percent from normal traffic as much as 31,888 and the volume of transaction traffic heading to Bandung City via GT Pasteur was recorded at 36,287 vehicles, an increase of 31.44 percent compared to normal traffic of 27,607 vehicles.

The functional lines KM 149 A and KM 151 A of the Padaleunyi Toll Road are also used quite optimally by the Community.

It was recorded that as many as 22,860 vehicles passed on KM 149 A toll access since they were first operated functionally, namely the period from 20 to 29 December 2024.

Meanwhile, the KM 151 A toll road access, which has just been operated functionally from December 27, 2024, until December 29, 2024, has been passed by 455 vehicles.

The number of users of functional access KM 149 A and KM 151 A will continue to grow until the end of the Nataru period, and become an evaluation for operational continuation according to directions from the Ministry of Public Works (PU) later.
