JAKARTA - The Premier League operator on Sunday evening officially announced the postponement of the match week 34 between Manchester United vs Liverpool, which had started at 22.30 western Indonesia time.

We understand and value the strong feelings of supporters but condemn all acts of violence, criminal repercussions, and infiltration, in particular. relating to violations of the COVID-19 protocol," the statement also said.

"Fans have many channels to voice their views, but the actions of a handful of unscrupulous actors today cannot be justified. We sympathize with police officers and field guides who have to deal with dangerous situations that should have no place in football. The announcement of a new schedule will be announced further," read a Premier League statement.

Thus, Manchester City has to wait until the next match week to find out the certainty of its league title this season.

The City could have won if Liverpool beat Manchester United at Old Trafford, but now Pep Guardiola's team will decide their own fate when they host Chelsea at the Etihad on Saturday, May 8 next week.
