PP Perbasi Officially Announces Management Arrangement, Nirmala Dewi Is Still Secretary General

Ketum PP Perbasi, Budisatrio Djiwandono, announced the new management composition for the 2024-2028 period (VOI/Ulfa Gusti).

JAKARTA - The Central Board of the Indonesian Basketball Association (PP Perbasi) has announced the composition of the management for the 2024-2028 period. In this new management, Nirmala Dewi is still trusted to occupy the position of Secretary General (Sekjen) of PP Perbasi.

After holding the National Conference (Munas) on October 30, 2024 at the Grand Mercure Hotel Kemayoran, Budisatrio Djiwandono was elected as General Chair (Ketum) by acclamation.

After Budisatrio officially served as Head of PP Perbasi, the inaugural plenary meeting was held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Le Meridien Hotel, Jakarta. This moment is the first meeting for the names serving in the Perbasi Central Management Board (DPP) in the coming period.

In the management structure, there is a new name appointed by Budisatrio. He is the boss of DBL, Azrul Amanda. Dahlan Iskan's son is trusted to occupy the position of Deputy General Chair for Competition and Development.

The management of this period will also have eight deputy chairmen. Apart from Azrul, Christopher Tanuwidjadja was also chosen as Deputy Head of Human Resources. Meanwhile, the Deputy for Organization is filled by Ardima Rama Putra.

In addition, under his leadership, Budisatrio also presented five new figures to fill the deputy chairman of the zoning.

The Sumatran zone is held by Ronni Yenes, the Java zone is entrusted to Grace Evi Ekawati, Garuda Wiko (Zona Bali and Kalimantan), Mohamad Shalahuddin (zone Sulawesi, NTT, and NTB), and Kelvin Winata (Zona Papua and Maluku).

After previously serving as the first female Secretary General in PP Perbasi during the leadership of the late Danny Kosasih, Nirmala Dewi was again trusted in the 2024-2028 period.

Apart from Nirmala Dewi, the old name that is still trusted is Syailendra Bakrie who is still the chairman of the National PP Perbasi 2024-2028 National Team.

In the previous period, Syailendra succeeded in bringing the Indonesian Basketball National Team to the achievement by winning gold from the SEA Games in the men's and women's sectors.

"Alhamdulillah, we have been strengthened by the joining of friends, our colleagues, to help me as the Head of PP Perbasi 2024-2028, together with the Secretary General of Nirmala Dewi, and the Deputy General Chairs who attended," said Budisatrio after the event on Friday, December 6, 2024.

"Here there is Mas Azul Ananda who is no longer foreign, who will become Deputy for Competition. There is also Mas Dimas who is also familiar, helping us as Deputy Chairperson of the Organizational Sector, strengthening the work of the PP Perbasi organization in the future," he said again.
