The National Police Chief-Chairman Of The KPK Meets, Discusses Corruption Eradication That Is Prabowo's Attention

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo held a meeting with the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Setyo Budiyanto. The two discussed several matters related to the prosecution of the corruption case which is now a concern of President Prabowo Subianto.

The meeting of the two leaders of institutions and institutions took place at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 8.

"This is the beginning of the synergy that we will continue to improve, and we build it in terms of eradicating corruption. As stated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the asta ideal program, of course, he has always emphasized the issue of corruption," said Sigit after the meeting.

According to him, one of the efforts to eradicate corruption is by taking precautions. Of course, by involving all law enforcement officers, both the Police and the KPK.

In addition, Sigit also said that he dismissed the concerns of many parties regarding the presence of Kortas Corruption, which was budgeted to overlap with other institutions.

The National Police Chief explained that the presence of Kortas Corruption would actually strengthen the synergy between the National Police and other law enforcement officers, including the KPK.

"We hope that with closer synergy, efforts to eradicate corruption in all lines can be more optimal. One of them is through the Kortas Corruption Police, which not only focuses on taking action, but also strengthens the education and prevention sector," said Setyo.

Not to forget, Setyo also emphasized the need for support from various parties to improve the low corruption perception index (IPK).

The Corruption Perception Index is a reflection of both national and international perceptions of us. This is not only the responsibility of the KPK, but a shared task, including the Police, to improve this perception," said Setyo.
