2 Bodies Found On The Wheel Of A JetBlue When Landing At Florda Airport

JAKARTA - Two bodies were found in the landing gear compartment of the JetBlue plane at Florida South airport, United States.

The two bodies were found during routine post-flight checks on Monday, January 6 evening at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

The plane arrived at Fort Lauderdale after 11 p.m. from John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York.

"Currently, the identity of the bodies and the ins and outs about the way they access the aircraft is still under investigation," said a JetBlue statement quoted by AP, Wednesday, January 8.

"This is a heartbreaking situation and we are committed to working with the authorities to support their efforts to understand how this is going," the airline continued.

Medical officers said the two people were killed at the scene. A spokesman for the Broward County Sheriff's Office, to AP, Carey Codd, said the two bodies were male.

"In addition, their current identity is unknown, and those are some of the information that sheriff Broward office detectives are trying to resolve right now," said Codd.

"Detectives will investigate and research all aspects of this particular incident, trying to figure out where the flight came from, where else, the circumstances in which those people boarded the plane," Codd continued.
