JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team has left for Myanmar to compete in the 2024 AFF Cup. Shin Tae-yong as the head coach has brought in the best players for maximum performance.
Previously, 33 players were called up for the Indonesian national team training camp (TC) agenda in Bali which has been held since November 27, 2024. However, in the last minute before leaving for Myanmar on Thursday, December 5, 2024, Shin Tae-yong only brought 24 players.
Initially only four names of players were crossed out first by the coach due to injuries. They are Dzaky Asraf, Made Tito, Arsa Ahmad, and Alfan Suaib.
Then, followed three other names who were eliminated ahead of departure. The three names are goalkeepers Ikram Algiffari, Ananda Raehan, and Armando Oropa.

With the removal of seven names, it means that the remaining number of players brought to Myanmar is 24 people. Of that number, four of them have not joined and will follow. They are Asnawi Mangkualam, Rafael Struick, Ivar Jenner, and Justin Hubner.
