JAKARTA A social media celebrity who can become a professional boxer, Jake Paul offers a rematch against Tommy Fury. A fee of 8 million US dollars or almost Rp. 127 billion was offered, but Fury refused.

Fury won their fight in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia on February 26, 2023. In the duel that was held in the cruiserweight during the 8 rounds, Fury won points. It was the only defeat Paul has suffered to date.

Paul vs Fury's rematch is planned to air on Netflix, as Paul faced Mike Tyson in Arlington, Taxas, USA on 12 November. In that match, Paul won points in a heavyweight match for 8 rounds.

"I offered 8 million dollars for the show on Netflix, but he refused. Tommy prefers the duel against the former MMA fighter. He was too much in accordance with his father's wishes. How stupid he is!" Paul was quoted as saying by The Sun.

Fury himself is indeed scheduled to face former British MMA fighter Darren Till. The duel between fellow British athletes is scheduled to be held in Manchester, England on January 18, 2025.

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson's duel is said to be the most watched boxing fight in history. It was recorded that 68 million viewers watched the game through paid shows on Netflix.
