The Indonesian national team is ready to fight Bahrain (VOI/Ferry Tri Adi Sasono).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will face Bahrain in the third match of Group C of the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification.

The match will be held at Bahrain headquarters, Bahrain National Stadium, on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 23.00 WIB.

The Garuda squad has arrived in Bahrain since Sunday, October 6, 2024. So far until the third day, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Shin Tae-yong's troops are almost complete.

There have been 26 players who have joined the training. The good news is again, the physical condition of the players is also good, without any injuries.

"Alhamdulillah, the condition of the whole team is very good. This is almost complete because 26 players have joined, while yesterday (October 7) only 15 players attended. We saw players practicing cheerfully and happily," said the Indonesian national team manager, Sumardji.

In addition, the players seemed to really enjoy the training session. They were not burdened with the target of gaining points from Bahrain's home.

"Thank God no one was injured. Everything is in good condition. Hopefully on October 10, 2024 against Bahrain, the team can appear all out and bring home points," said Sumardji again.

The Indonesian national team has so far packed two points from the first two matches of Group C of the 2026 World Cup Qualification.

The Garuda squad detained the Saudi Arabian series (1-1) when they traveled and picked up a point when they hosted Australia (0-0).
