Indonesian Racer Andi Farid Izdihar, known as Andi Gilang, won in the first race of the 2024 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) in the Asia Superbike 1000 (ASB 1000) category which took place at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Saturday, July 27.
Andi Gilang, who defended the Honda Asia-Dream Racing Team, started the race from third after recording a time of 1 minute 35,933 seconds in the qualifying session. The Japanese racer, Soichiro Minammoto, started the race from pole position with a record fastest time of 1 minute 35,426 seconds, while Yuki Kunii, also from Japan, started from the second grid.
