Borneo FC Coach Controls Ambition To Win President's Cup 2024

JAKARTA - Borneo FC secured tickets for the 2024 Presidential Cup semifinals after overthrowing Persib Bandung in the second match of Group A at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Monday, July 22, 2024.

Borneo FC coach Pieter Huistra assessed that his team's slick performance in this pre-season tournament did not immediately respond with joy.

"Today's match tonight was really good. We played against Persib Bandung, a good team, a big team. They have a lot of good players, a lot of new players too."

"I prefer to win the league, but there is still time. Today I am very happy with the team's performance. I always emphasize that the team can control the ball, control the game," Huistra said after the match.

Huistra was not quickly satisfied with the appearance of his students. A number of shortcomings are his focus to improve so that the performance in Liga 1 2024/2025 can be better for the ambition to win.
