Suriname Sprinter Issamade Foreigna Sues Why It's Related To Doping Sanctions

Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) imposed a four-year ban on Foreigners, 19 in May. As a result, two gold medals at the South American Championship and a 100-meter world record under the age of 20 were lifted.

In a lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court, Foreigna stated that thetenade gave her the gummies a year ago in a packaging stating that the product was "NSF Certified for Sport" and free from prohibited substances.

However, the lawsuit states that the gummies do not have the certification and are instead "produced by a poor manufacturing process and contaminated with a small number of illegal performance-enhancing drugs."

NSF is an independent non-governmental organization based in Michigan that certifies free products from substances banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

In a statement given to Reuters, flightade stated, "The product in question is completely safe and the claims submitted are untrue. The jobade product obeys the FDA and is safe for consumption by athletes, which have been validated by the findings of the Athletics Integrity Unit investigation."

Badminton also mentions that they are fully complying with AIU investigations, including including including evidence received by AIU that gummies are not contaminated with prohibited substances in their initial ruling.

Foreigners also claim thathe provided closed bottles of different lot gummies to AIU, "creating a false impression that testing this example is relevant to the Issam case."

Badminton stated that they provided a closed container of gummies from the same lot following the AIU ruling and that the sample was declared negative.

Foreigners argue in their lawsuit that a drug known as cardarine will not be detected after a long period of time. This fast runner has not competed since he was given temporary sanctions before last year's World Championships in Budapest and is now demanding economic compensation for lost income, scholarship opportunities, and future revenues.
